President-elect Biden has a clear plan for your student loans. As he articulated during his presidential campaign, Biden would make several changes to student loan repayment, student loan forgiveness, the cost of college, and even would cancel student loan debt.
The top question about forgiving student loans is which party will control Congress in the next legislative term. A split Congress could signal a lack of action on student loans, but if Democrats take control of the Senate there are a number of changes Biden could make to student loans.
