Marco Zappacosta is the CEO and co-founder of Thumbtack, an online platform where users can search for services from home improvement professionals like flooring installers, handyman services, remodelers, general contractors, tile and flooring technicians, and more. Thumbtack was also a member of Forbes’ Next Billion Dollar Startup list in 2014. Zappacosta spoke about how to turn ideas into a real company and lessons he’s learned raising capital along the way.
