Rubushe is a setting the bar high in a busy year. He was nominated for the Youth Influencer Awards last year, collaborated with Trollbeads, a Danish jewellery company, and created an experiential event at GoldBar in Cape Town, developed an innovation concept for an inner city road trip with KIA motors and collaborated and developed numerous brand concepts with the likes of Markham, PUMA, Watch Republic, Standard Bank and CSquared.
“I am drawn to entrepreneurship because the possibilities are endless and the impact a successful business can have betters the lives of all people. It stimulates local economic growth and provides opportunities for my fellow South Africans and Africans,” he says.
Rubushe employs 10 people and hopes to keep growing the business. His love for sport led to a partnership with Enhanced Sports, a sports development and coaching company. He plans to supply quality and affordable sporting gear to underprivileged schools.
