In late 2023, gracemobility. emerged not just as a company, but as a response to one of Africa’s most pressing needs: the freedom and infrastructure to move.

Across the African continent, access to reliable, inclusive, and affordable transportation remains one of the most important enablers of opportunity. It affects how people access jobs, education, healthcare and each other.

Our mission began with a simple question: what does movement mean in Africa today? The answer lies not in importing a one-size-fits-all solution, but in shaping mobility around the lives, ambitions, and realities of people across diverse geographies and income levels.

“At gracemobility. we have a clear vision, it is to revolutionize mobility in emerging markets by providing innovative, effective and, most important, durable solutions,” says Omar Shallah, CEO of gracemobility International.

Built For The Real World

From dense urban centers to roads in rural areas, African mobility is defined by contrast. gracemobility. approaches this complexity with a wide portfolio of solutions—electric scooters, utility pickups, three-wheelers, and clean-energy vans—that serve different needs across the spectrum. But beyond vehicles, we are helping build the ecosystem that sustains them.

We know that access alone isn’t enough. Financing options, maintenance support, parts availability, and energy infrastructure are just as essential as the vehicle itself. In many countries, the lack of reliable charging stations or high fuel prices creates a real barrier to progress. We’re working to close that gap—not with promises, but with plans.

Every solution we offer is built around real-world usage: how small businesses move goods, how families travel long distances, how young entrepreneurs launch their next venture. Because when movement becomes practical, growth follows.

Grounded Growth, Local Impact

We don’t see expansion as a race—it’s a responsibility. Our 2025 showroom launches in Accra, Ghana and Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire were moments to listen, not just to launch. In each city, we engaged with policymakers, business leaders, and everyday citizens to better understand the role mobility can play in economic participation and environmental responsibility.

“The launch of Gracemobility here in Ghana therefore marks a significant milestone in our journey toward a climate-friendly future, adding to the existing initiatives for sound environmental stewardship. It presents us with a unique opportunity to lead by example and become one of the pioneers in the electric vehicle revolution on the African continent,” said Joseph Bukari Nikpe, Minister Of Transport, Ghana.

These showrooms are more than sales floors—they are community hubs that provide servicing, training, and technical support. They also act as springboards for local hiring, skill-building, and infrastructure planning.

Next up is Luanda, Angola, with a new showroom opening in May 2025, carefully chosen based on regional needs, energy access, and readiness for electric adoption. Our expansion strategy isn’t about numbers—it’s about laying long-term foundations where they matter most.

Energy Shift, African Style

Africa’s shift to electric mobility is not following the global script—and that’s okay. The path here is unique, shaped by intermittent power access, limited government subsidies, and a need for immediate, affordable solutions. Instead of waiting for perfect conditions, gracemobility. is working within the present.

Our electric fleet—from scooters and delivery trikes to long-range pickups and luxury electric vehicles (EVs)—is designed for African realities. These vehicles are reliable, cost-efficient, and require minimal infrastructure. More importantly, they are already in motion.

“Building a sustainable future for Côte d’Ivoire is a collective responsibility. Together, we can create lasting change and revolutionize mobility,” says Marius Toh, Chief Operating Officer at gracemobility.Côted’Ivoire.

We’re also investing in education and localized training, working with partners to establish maintenance and support services that make clean mobility not only possible but sustainable.

Collaborating for Community

No one transforms a continent alone. That’s why gracemobility. works through joint ventures with companies deeply embedded in their local markets.

In Ghana, we’re working with the Accad Group, a long-established family business with a history in the country’s automotive sector dating back to 1941. Its subsidiaries—Auto Parts Ltd. and Universal Motors Ltd.—are involved in various parts of the mobility landscape.

Auto Parts Ltd. distributes Nissan vehicles and Mercury Marine engines, while Universal Motors Ltd. manages aftersales services for Porsche and Volkswagen. The group also has experience in semi-knocked down (SKD) assembly, contributing to both distribution and local production efforts.

In Côte d’Ivoire, our alliance with SIFCOM Group brings decades of experience across agriculture, industry, and mobility. SIFCOM’s leadership in representing automotive brands and distributing heavy equipment gives us reach, credibility, and operational agility across West Africa.

These partnerships ensure that every step we take is informed, inclusive, and embedded in local know-how. They are proof that when global ambition meets regional intelligence, real transformation begins.

Driving Change, Not Just Cars

This journey is about more than business—it’s about people. Every day, we see electric three-wheelers helping micro-entrepreneurs reach new markets. We hear from families buying their first dependable vehicle through accessible financing. We meet young people entering the mobility workforce as technicians, mechanics, and innovators.

Mobility is not just a product—it’s a pathway. And in Africa, that path is only beginning to unfold.

gracemobility. is committed to supporting communities, reducing environmental impact, and building systems that last. As we look ahead to new markets and new partnerships, we stay rooted in our purpose: to support Africa move forward together, sustainably, and with power in every journey.
